The Boston Blazers play indoor lacrosse known as "Box Lacrosse" the game is played on a hockey rink with a turf field. The rules are quite different from outdoor lacrosse known as "Field Lacrosse" and more similar to hockey. It is a very fast paced and exciting game. The action on the field is matched by pagentry in the stands and music is played the entire time over the Gardens sound system. It literally rocks. Box Lacrosse is very popular in Canada. In fact Lacrosse is the National Sport of Canada. The Blazers play in the National Lacrosse League with teams from Orlando, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Rochester, Buffalo, Colorado, Edmonton, and Minnesota.

The Blazers home games are played at the TD Garden in Boston
